Walk & Talk
Therapy in Motion, Supported by Nature
Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk and talk therapy is a form of counselling that takes place outdoors, usually while walking calmly along the beach, coastal paths, or other open natural spaces. Rather than sitting in a traditional therapy room, sessions unfold through gentle movement and conversation, which can help the experience feel more natural and less pressured.
The steady rhythm of walking can support emotional regulation, helping to reduce anxiety and allowing thoughts and feelings to surface more easily. Being in open surroundings, particularly near the sea, often brings a sense of space, perspective, and calm that supports reflection and self-awareness.
Walk and talk therapy can be especially helpful for those who feel more comfortable talking while moving, who benefit from being outdoors, or who find that nature helps them feel grounded and present during the therapeutic process.
