About Me

A gentle, person-centred approach to therapy

About Me

Hi, I’m Tracy, a somatic, trauma-informed, humanistic counsellor. I hold a BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling and work with adults and young people aged 16 and over.

I support clients facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, and a general sense of feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

My approach is person-centred, meaning I offer a space where you can feel heard, accepted, and supported just as you are—without pressure or judgment.

My interest in somatic work is rooted in my background in yoga psychology, which has shaped the way I understand the mind-body connection. I gently integrate body awareness into therapy, supporting clients to notice what their body might be holding or trying to communicate—always at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

Therapy Options to Suit You

I have a deep passion for the outdoors, which naturally led me to offer walk-and-talk therapy.

Walking itself is a somatic experience—it can regulate the nervous system, bring clarity, and create a calming rhythm for reflection. Whether it’s movement, breath, or the natural world, I believe healing doesn’t always have to happen seated in a room.

I offer 3 main types of session:

Face-to-face sessions in the Bournemouth area, for those who prefer a more traditional setting

Online counselling, providing flexibility and comfort from your own space

Walk-and-talk therapy, combining movement, nature, and conversation—ideal if you feel more grounded outdoors or find it easier to talk while walking side by side.
