Families Learning About Self Harm

About F.L.A.S.H

FLASH (Families Learning About Self-Harm) is a structured, evidence-informed workshop programme designed specifically for parents and carers supporting a young person who is self-harming or struggling to cope with overwhelming emotions.
It provides a safe, supportive space to better understand what’s driving these behaviours, while equipping you with practical tools to respond in a calm, confident and constructive way.

The programme focuses on strengthening communication, reducing family anxiety, and helping you rebuild trust and connection at home.

This is not theory or generic advice. It’s guided, hands-on support grounded in real-world experience, giving you clear strategies you can apply immediately to navigate difficult situations and support your child more effectively.

What is F.L.A.S.H & What Can You Expect?
